Our Everyday Natural Solution: Pure Green Coffee Bean Extract

By Cindy Davis

Pure green coffee bean extract is the concentrated form of the familiar coffee bean, but before that bean has been roasted. At first blush, that might sound like nothing more than another way to wake up in the morning. In fact, it is an increasingly popular alternative solution for those of us suffering from being overweight, and has shown promise in addressing diabetes as well.

The active ingredient at work inside this new weight loss solution is Chlorogenic acid, or simply CGA. Savvy shoppers should make sure that Chlorogenic acid composes approximately fifty percent of the product ingredients. Dosage is between four hundred milligrams and eight hundred milligrams each day.

In clinical studies, test subjects who were administered the acid demonstrated a reduction of over fifteen percent of their body fat, as well as a loss of ten percent or more of their total body weight. It is noteworthy that these positive changes took place without the subjects engaging in any new diet or exercise schedule. Individual users often claim weight losses averaging a pound per day over a period of months.

One particularly well-respected, three-month study offers a window into CGA's usefulness. It demonstrated that the acid enhances the natural fat burning powers of the human body. It also improves its ability to regulate sugar levels as well. Furthermore, the study revealed that CGA gives the body a booster shot of antioxidants to help prevent disease.

An especially notable feature, if one is a veteran dieter wary of amphetamines, is that CGA causes weight loss without side effects. No jitters, sweats, or heart palpitations afflict those using Chlorogenic acid. The active ingredient interrupts the liver in its releasing glucose energy into our blood. This in turn results in our own natural metabolism increasing its ability to burn and utilize body fat.

CGA's demonstrated ability to aid sugar regulation makes it a potential asset in the fight so many of us wage against diabetes. It has been shown in clinical studies to lower blood pressure as well as bad cholesterol levels. Therefore it isn't surprising that this promising compound has come to the attention, not just of diabetics, but of many others suffering from cardiovascular disease and a wide range of other ailments associated with obesity.

Careful consumers would do well to keep in mind that these results are those for the active ingredient, in particular. They are not general results of individual products sold by particular herbal or pharmaceutical companies. Typically, these blends might include substances such as acai berry, kelp, apple cider vinegar or grapefruit. With these additions might come additional claims, such as appetite suppression. There might also be some side effects which are not particular to pure Chlorogenic acid.

Good things often result when skilled people find new applications for something familiar to us. That was the story for George Washington Carver and his peanuts. Something as common to us as our morning brew now turns out to offer the potential to lose pounds and become healthier. Considering this, it isn't surprising that pure green coffee bean extract has drawn so much attention.
