How to Turn Fat to Muscle


It's a false notion that fat can be turned into muscles. They are entirely different compositions attached to the body, that's why they it is impossible to turn one into another. The key to removing fat in the body is by exercising and muscles can also be built up by doing the same. You can remove fat and build your muscle simultaneously by exercising.

Build the muscle groups

Muscle groups is a term used to identify muscles that can be engaged through exercise. They are usually located close to each other. When you choose an exercise, it has to affect a specific muscle group.

- Target the heart - ideal exercise would include brisk walking and running

- Target the core - sit ups, abdominal twists, corkscrew, crunches and pikes will work wonderfully

- Target the legs and the arms - Do the bicycle for the legs and push ups for the arms or even weight lifting.

- Target the chest - push ups can help the chest

- And other muscle groups

In order to make the exercise effective, each muscle group should be worked on at least three to five times a week. The more you exercise, the more the muscles develop. An exercise program can be done closely with a trainer.

Get rid of the fat

The role of food in losing fat and building muscle is important. When you want to lose the fat, exercise is necessary but so is cutting down on fatty meals. Take notice how many calories or fat you intake. There are guides that you can follow to make sure that you eat just the right amount of calories.

When you want to build your muscles your diet should consist more of lean meat and other protein-filled food because these help build muscles. Eat lots of vegetables, nuts and fruits. Try avoiding a lot of starchy foods or carbohydrate filled foods such as rice, bread, pasta and other food which when left unused turns into sugar. Don't remove carbohydrates from your diet, just regulate it. It is also recommended that you consult with a nutritionist or a physician if you want to change your diet especially if you have medical concerns. It's better to be safe than sorry.

The amount of food you eat and the reduction of fat and other unhealthy food will definitely bring strength and agility to the body and more so with exercise.

Drink water

When exercising its important to stay hydrated. Drink water before the workout, in between and right after. The recommended number is six to eight glasses of water during the day. But if you exercise it should be 16-24 glasses.
